August 2025

Hi Member,

Our latest "Fueling Facts" report shows how the clean fuels industry has moved forward in recent years. This momentum is reinforced by recent developments like Ford’s investment in affordable EVs and new NEVI guidance aimed at speeding up projects.

The next step is on us: several clean fuels tax credits expire at the end of September, and others are only available for a limited time. Every incentive has an expiration date, so let’s put them to work now. Progress is happening, and the clock is ticking. If you need guidance, we’re here to help.

Sincerely,
Jane McCurry's Signature

THIS MONTH'S MOVEMENT

Headshot of Jane McCurry

There’s a growing narrative that EVs are too heavy and are causing excessive damage to our roads. While the claim might sound reasonable, transportation engineers and road design experts say the data tells a different story.

In simple terms, a single semi does more road damage than 2,000 passenger EVs combined because road damage increases exponentially with weight.  So the next time someone claims EVs are wrecking the roads, you’ve got the facts that tell a different story.
