It's been a full month! This month, we introduced two new member resources to deepen your engagement and support decision-making across Michigan’s clean mobility landscape: the Fleet Hub and our members-only Policy Hub. You can explore how each tool can support your work below.
In addition to these launches, we hosted a Clean Mobility 411 focused on low-carbon methane, Chase spoke on a workforce webinar highlighting the intersection of mobility, training, and talent development, and we continued to advance conversations about the importance of strong clean mobility policy in Lansing. Across programs, advocacy, and partnerships, we continue to invest in practical education and real-world engagement that supports Michigan’s mobility ecosystem. Our goal remains the same: to provide clear information, meaningful connections, and opportunities to lead.
On a personal note, I am now on parental leave and adjusting to life with a newborn. For the next couple of months, this note will come from one of the incredible Clean Fuels Michigan teammembers. We’re grateful for your partnership and look forward to what’s ahead this spring.
Sincerely,
THIS MONTH'S MOVEMENT
New Clean Fleets Resource Hub Now Available
We are excited to share the newly created Clean Fleets Resource Hub! Clean Fuels Michigan and Michigan EIBC joined forces to create this centralized resource for organizations exploring and implementing clean transportation solutions across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleets.
Within the Hub, you will find:
Information on available fuel and vehicle technologies
Updates on state and federal funding opportunities
Policy insights impacting fleet operations
Tools and resources to support fleet planning and deployment
Connections to industry partners and technical assistance
Whether you are just beginning to explore clean fleet options or actively deploying alternative fuel vehicles and charging infrastructure, this resource supports informed decision-making. Explore and share Hub tools, including the Clean Fleet Decision Guide, which collects basic fleet information to recommend clean fuel types and customized next steps in less than 5 minutes.
Clean Mobility Advocacy in Action
Our Policy Manager, Chase Attanasio, has been actively engaging policymakers, industry leaders, and workforce partners to advance clean mobility in Michigan.
Last month, Chase joined the Michigan EIBC to convene lawmakers and Clean Fuels Michigan members for a discussion on how Michigan can continue supporting the future of the state’s automotive industry as EVs and new mobility technologies gain momentum.
At the end of February, he traveled to Chicago for the Energy Foundation’s Midwest Convening, where transportation and energy stakeholders from across the region explored system-wide solutions to accelerate clean mobility.
Chase also recently presented during an MITalk webinar, sharing data that highlights the growing demand for a skilled workforce in clean transportation. His presentation focused on technical and entry-level career pathways and strategies to expand Michigan’s talent pipeline to support future economic growth.
Looking ahead, on March 31, Chase will join a panel at an electric transportation workshop hosted by Forth Mobilityin East Lansing. The event will explore how state and local transportation agencies can partner with stakeholders to design and deliver comprehensive electric transportation solutions, including funding opportunities to expand EV infrastructure across Michigan.
